Days of Gold 04:05
Days of Gold those days of gold I never realized when I was young and bold with lofty visions in my eyes I was learning to be the man I became learning to live, to love and to gain learning to lose again and again with no tire but never losing my desire those days of old escape as soon as they are told now only tales are told they are the framework of our souls that lead us learning to live the life that we breathe learning to love the reflection we see learning to give eventually, we retire still burning with desire these days of gold flash right before our eyes our flesh grows old before we ever realize we’re learning to be the dream we perceive learning to be the change that we need learning to see we’ve always been free and inspired learning to live the life that we breathe learning to taste, to hear and to see learning to grow eventually, we tire still burning with desire for those of gold

Gliding 04:46
Gliding when you go riding and you fall again will you go riding back again if you go riding and you lose your way will you go riding again someday if you start writing and you lose the thread will you keep writing or will you quit instead and if you stop writing will you start again will your pen and paper guide you or vanish in the end (through the turmoil to the end) gliding gliding gliding home again and if you’re fighting and never seem to win will you keep fighting or blow away in the wind the candle that you’re lighting may never spark a flame but the act of always striving is the meaning of the game gliding gliding sliding home again

Islandize 04:08
slandize hey island eyes the sunlight on your skin the seagull flies hey you mesmerize and the world flies by when you islandize the water gives the sunrise to the skies the rhythm of the surf and the seagull cries with these memories of love and last goodbyes a life goes by island eyes hey young beauty have your fun enjoy the days of laughing in the sun for the day sails past you then it’s done hey islandize the glow of morning opens to blue skies but as the endless summer fades you realize that all life once lived will surely die hey young beauty have your fun enjoy the days of laughing in the sun for the day sails past you then it’s done so islandize

Shadows on the Wall watching shadows on the wall making sense of it all first a rise and then a fall watching shadows on the wall pour your potion in a glass the future tastes just as the past what’s clearly gone is made to last pour your potion in a glass leave the cave and see the sun your education’s just begun first you walk and then you run all day watching shadows on the wall dancing illusions, never real at all outside this darkness freedom calls no more shadows on the wall the servitude becomes the past these tools of trance weren’t meant to last let your spirit lead you past deceptive shadows fading fast leave the darkness heed the call lead the transfixed from the wall share the sunshine with them all all day no more shadows on the wall

The Eye 03:57
The Eye you’ve got a right to know and it’s right to know who controls the flow look into the eye it’s not incompetence but, overconfidence use your common sense and look into the eye they’re looking down at you from their altitude from the guarded view look into the eye they pull the marionette strings on their political things and they dictate everything look into the eye we know who you are we know how much you stole we know your every plan we know evil empires always fold how did it go so wrong cause that’s their song the attack is long look into the eye they control both sides fund the genocide they work from the inside look into the eye

Lost 04:55
Lost I’ve been lost without you paid the cost ‘cause of you how I longed to be free and for something to believe in and I cried in the night for the sight, make it right, end this night for me I’ve been found in spite of you I’ve heard the sounds of the truth I was blind, now I see I found the freedom to believe that those cries in the night were just fright, lacking sight, we must fight to be free can I fly too high (I don’t know) can I fly too high I never knew quite why (I had to know) all these mirrors and lies are to control I was lost in a maze I was tossed in the haze now I know and I see through the systems that deceive all the blind men who still fight left and right lacking sight of true light they aren’t free those cries in the night are just fright, lacking sight, we must fight to be free no longer lost am I

Last Days 04:04
Last Days I try to enjoy every taste and excess celebrate every moment of breath appreciate all of the comforts of what is our home on these, the last days of Rome our wealth was created on a house of cards the system was built to explode and discard as if the charges were laid in the walls of our homes set to explode on the last days of Rome we still jeer and we cheer at our stadium games but our sheckles are no longer valuable exchange the cost of our bread soars higher and higher and higher ‘til there’s no fuel for the fire we’ve seen all of our hopes and our dreams vaporize like black magic performed for our TV strained eyes we toss all our freedoms to burn on a funeral pyre on these, the last days of the empire we look down on the beggars who surely need love we look to see we’ve been sprayed from above the cameras are watching, they track all our thoughts through our phones on these, the last days of Rome and men behind curtains dictate the decline as the fall will bring chaos and order by design where once the free and the brave made a home what remains for us now are these, the last days of Rome free men cut down by a drone the last days of Rome freedom left standing alone on the last days of Rome

Torrent 03:29
Torrent where were you when the skies closed and the rains came where were you when the sun came crashing down where were you when the deluge swept all life away did you observe the carnage from higher ground is there any hope left to rebuild with all this blood mercilessly spilled all our dreams have died here in this hurricane washed away through city streets to the sea all our forefathers cried here as they built this home on the range now all that remains are the few who climbed the trees washed away washed away where were you when the skies cleared and the sun shone down where were you after everything was washed to the sea where were you when we took stock of our meager remains where were you when we needed to believe

Drowned in the Atmosphere nighttime filled with doubt daylight constant fear every pleasure drowns in the atmosphere moonlight fades to day our feet must hit the road every taste is earned and never owed how colorful the past parties in the sun the miracle of memories fanciful fun nighttime filled with dreams lest we find out where we are lying in the dirt looking to the stars we remember where we were when our ship of dreams no longer steered us clear now every hope is found away from here every joy is drowned in the atmosphere

Cold Destiny Unfolds (Carry on the Flame) I’m still looking for life’s truth as it all comes unglued and as this cold destiny unfolds we sadly dwell on days of gold before the dream of shadows we believed so real was scorched away by light of day and the cost of life grew higher than anyone could hope to pay and yet we hope and carry on with the game it is planted deep within our hearts and souls (carry forth the flame) smashed upon the rocks all these treasures of our lives the lighthouse didn’t guide us or shelter us from prying eyes the rains came and drowned all gliding and left us grounded way down here in these final days of island dreaming the future gift remains unclear and yet we hope and carry on with the game it is planted deep within our hearts and souls (carry forth the flame)
